This hotel is far overpriced. Taxes, breakfast and internet are not included in the roomrate. Room was not cleaned properly. In the morning there was no water from the tap. I was overcharged for the internet use. the charge for sending a fax was outragious: eur 30,- for 10 pages!
I will never stay here again!
if you want a better hotel at a better price go to the Marriott or Sheraton.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, value for money. Spent 5 nights. Rooms smallish but functional, clean and well stocked. Location fair - 100yds to sky-train and then 2 tops to city cente (Siam Centre & MBK Mall)
Staff exceptional. Breakfast - large variety and good quality.

As a 29 year old female traveling alone, I wanted a beautiful and safe place to come back to after my days of touring Bangkok and the Siam City was perfect! The location was great because it was right on the BTS (Bangkok transit system) and the malls and other sites were easy to get to. The breakfast buffet was delicious with everything from made-to-order omelets to Thai curry. The only thing I disliked was the price of internet, so I went to internet cafes every day to keep in touch.

stayed 4 nights very enjoyable,rooms not overly large but are clean and well appointed,comfortable beds and good bathroom well stocked with all the needed necessaries,fairly large pool well maintained,the area around the pool a little small and cramped when busy but still fine for lounging on the sun chairs and relaxing most of the time,foyer area is grand and beautiful with displays of antiques some encased in glass.

the restaurants are good but not exceptional in food quality we thought and a bit pricey,the free breakfast they gave us as part of the deal was a pleasant surprise however,something for everyone,even a guy to cook a fresh omelet for you any style you like.

the greatest asset of this hotel overall is the well trained staff,from the time we first stepped through the door they assisted us in every way possible,they were polite,and helpful with anything we asked and alway beamed a smile and a welcome gesture upon seeing us both day or night,we would happily stay at this hotel again and would recommend it the others.
