Tierra de Leyendas

This wonderful Hosteria in Ushuaia is absolutely incredible.
You fell at home but, at the same time, in a five star hotel with personalized service.
Both of the owners, Sebastian and Maia, and the employees are really friendly and promptly helps you in all your needs.
Sebastian is a real Chef and all the plates we tried were perfect.
The prices of the hotel, restaurant, including the wines are very convenient.
People from all over the world stays in Tierra de Leyendas. We meet citizens from Canada, USA, Spain, Mexico, Italy and Brazil.
It was difficult to come back home and we almost cried in the last day of our week stay.
This is the one of the most incredible vacation in our life and one of the best places we had ever stayed.
We hope to come back soon.

Maria and Sebastian were the most wonderful hosts, helping us by booking all our excursions for us before we arrived and giving us useful information about the area. The rooms are welcoming, beautifully decorated, spotless and cosy. Attention to detail makes them special and if you choose a view of the Beagle Channel then it is just breathtaking. Sebastian's cooking was the best we had had in Argentina, his King Crab fantastic. A really wonderful stay in Ushuaia, we can't praise Tierra de Leyendas highly enough.

Tierra de Leyendas should be taken as a "gold standard" for inn-style accomodation not only in Argentina, but all over the world. Location is fantastic, staff is polite and friendly, breakfast is complete and restaurant quality is "high-end". Rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended!!!

I am leaving today Tierra de Leyendas hotel, after 7 nights of relax and comfort. Maya, Sebastien and the whole staff are just great. I travel every year to Patagonia for skiing and this was definetely my favourite place!
I totally agree with all the great comments I have read before coming. I just would like to add some tips regarding staying here:
a. Check their own website. You will find a lot of good information there. And write to them directly to make your reservation. I checked for rooms in many other web sites and they did not offer rooms for this hotel or they answer back with no availability. I wrote directly to them and Maia wrote back with all the information in less than 24hs.
b. The owners are very helpful and you will be able to chat with them especially during breakfast. But, they will leave you completely alone if that is your wish. My recommendations: speak at least some words with them as they are very informative and helpful.
