“Fairly Good-great breakfast”

I called the hotel for directions. I almost missed the driveway but the directions were accurate. The lobby area/front desk is small but had a cozy feel to it expecially with the fireplace! Most of the lobby had dining tables which I learned were for the provided breakfast. Check in was informative and polite. (This was my first time staying in an all suite hotel and I guess I had a picture in my mind of what the suite would look like.) Upon entering the room my first impression was "this is it?" My eyes passed the living room and went right to the windows in the back . Once I reoriented myself, I found that the suite was somewhat tight in the living area. The work table and the kitchen area was expansive. The couch, sitting chair, ottoman, TV and coffee table were cramped in a small area. The furniture appeared to be on the edge of being worn and of cheap quality. It was clean and in order. The bedroom area was fine; tons of pillows and comfortable beds. The bathroom area was fair and they forgot to put out soap/shampoo etc. I had to go to the desk for some. Rooms were quiet for a good night's sleep. In the morning we had the included breakfast: everything from waffles to yogurt to cereal to eggs to muffins- totally super! The presentation was extremely appetizing and filling. After my critical view of the room the breakfast won my vote! I guess you can't have everything and since everyone's expectations are different, the experience there was above average and will give it a go in the future.

“Very relaxing”

I was very pleased with this hotel. I was in Phoenix for business and it was nice coming back to a room that was clean, cool (maid made sure to have air on for me), and comfortable. The rooms are big and the beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast has many delicious choices.

The only opportunity I would list for this hotel is the business center's computer is a little too tight with the security program. I was unable to change spreadsheets, or log into my work computer. I was only able to use it for basic needs. Then had to find an alternate computer in Phoenix to use.

“Pleasant -- and a Good Value”

SpringHill Suites Phoenix Metro Center Mall

Our room was extremely clean and although small for a suite, it was more spacious than a normal hotel room even though the rate was a room rate rather than a suite rate. The bed linens were a good quality and there was a choice of pillow types, especially good for us since my husband likes a flat pillow and I prefer a fluffy one. Front desk staff was friendly and quite helpful, explaining to us which parking lot to go through and which back streets to take to avoid the hassle of the one-way frontage road.

“A Nice Place to Stay”

We stayed for 4 nights while in Phoenix. It was a bear to find the first time 'round, as it's on a frontage road and we had to double back (twice) to figure out how to get to it. Once you get the route down, it's no problem. It is right NEXT to the freeway so noise is an issue. May be less of a problem is you get a room facing away from the freeway. The room was OK. They call them suites but they are pretty small with only a half wall between the living room and bedroom. Bed was comfortable and we had FOUR pillow to choose from. The window air conditioner didn't really cool the room as much as we would have liked. In hindsight, we should have opted for a room on the first (cooler) floor. Only downside to the room, walking on the carpet made white socks black (Eewww!). Many folks used the pool and husband went in the spa but I thought the spa looked a little grungy and took a pass. Breakfast choices were good but we looked for more fresh fruit than was offered (only bananas and rock hard pears). We also liked the in room high speed, wireless internet access. A big plus! All in all, It was nice ... just remember, keep your shoes on!

“Mixed bag, good overall”

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and everything works. Exterior is well kept. However, be sure to 2x or 3x check your reservations as they get lost sometimes. TV news limited to CNN, which is irritating. Breakfast does not start on time. Coke machines empty constantly. Often it is the details that make a business trip a pain or a joy. At this hotel, be prepared to do it yourself. Front desk people are nice.
