it was really nice stay!
for such amount of money - even better then nice!
i am completely satisfied. the rooms are large and clean, with microven and coffe. personal is pleasant. the hotel is situated almost in down town that takes you to Hollywood Blvd with kodak theatre and walk of fame in 5 minutes by car!

There was some construction going on at the property, so parking was tough. However, I had a rear facing room and it was amazingly quiet, especially considering how noisy the area is. It's not in the greatest neighborhood, but there were some good restaurants nearby, and the location is good as far as accessing downtown.

after living in silverlake for over a year and moving back to NYC, i knew i wanted to stay downtown near my old neighborhood for a trip back to LA. but then i found an even better location at the comfort inn, right in the middle of silverlake! it's cheap, i think my rate was $110/nite. and clean. it did smell like smoke a little, i probably could have asked for another room, which i recommend asking for a non smoking room if they have any. but the hotel was good for what it was, i wasnt ever spending much time in there anyways! i was out and about, hanging out, eating, shopping, going out at night. it's so close to my favorite bars and restaurants in silverlake and los feliz, echo park...i recommend the comfort inn! and this is from someone who stays at 5 star hotels for work trips! i don't like wasting my own money on hotels that are expensive.

A cut above most Comfort Inns, and for less than $100 in LA. Efficiently run, good breakfast, free parking, good security (needed, the neighborhood is not a fancy one). Stayed 3 days on business, would come back, for sure.
