Great location.....that's the only positive comment that I can make. The room had that musty/moldy smell that won't go away. The carpet was damp - probably explains the smell issue. The night clerk brought a crank handle to open the windows and can of stuff to cover the smell. The day clerk did not respond in any way to our comments. Indicates to me that she was used to hearing complaints.

I would not return to this hotel. Ever.

We went to wedding in KW we booked 10 rooms. Why else do you go to the keys? To party. All you do in a hotel is sleep! Awesome Awesome location right on corner of Duval, walking distance to all hot spots, balcony overlooks Duval street. 24 hour pizza place right next door. I say for the money it wasn't bad. I read all other reviews and wonder whats wrong with these other people? The only thing I had a problem with was that the carpet seemed a bit too cool..maybe even damp. Otherwise for the money and location I say it was a cool deal. We stayed for four days. GOTTA get some pizza.

The ad says 'free wireless internet' - you can only access the net in
the 100 sq ft lobby. Ad says 'heated pool' - the hot tub was luke -warm the pool was very cold. The whole staff is rude and lazy. If you are looking for a great location and that's all – this is your place.

Well, I picked this place because they allowed three adults in the room (very rare in KW, most places make you get two rooms) and the place was right on Duval. Cheap, last minute rate and it had its own parking down the street (another rare-ity in KW). All I can say is that you get what you pay for. Living in Florida, I have become used to big bugs (even the BEST places can have those run inside), the occasional rat, mold in the shower, etc. therefore, not much bothers me. The place is OLD and does need a revamp, but nothing I could not deal with. The only thing that really bothered me was having to fill out a registration card (have not been asked to do THAT in YEARS!) and asked to pay a $10.00 cash key deposit. I felt like I was transported 20 years back in time and not in a good way. Other than that, the place was ok, the view was cool and I was only in the room to shower and sleep. Good if you want a cheap room but don't expect much else from this place.
