My wife and I recently returned from a week-long stay at the Four Seasons Miami. First of all, as has been mentioned in many of the reviews, the hotel is in the Brickell Business area, which is essentially shut down after 5 PM during the week and is equally deserted on the weekends. This made for a very quiet stay, despite the fact the hotel was hosting participants in a Latin music awards program. For eating and other activities outside the hotel, however, there are limited choices. Cab rides to Coral Gables, Cocconut Grove and South Beach are likely if you stay as long as we did. You can use the metromover and metrorail systems to get around as well. The hotel lobby and rooms are very nice, exceptionally clean, and consistent with the Four Seasons we have stayed in elsewhere. The valet, bellservice, and housekeeping personnel are very nice although some language barriers do exist. We found the concierge service to be friendly but inconsistently helpful. Some of the best recommendations came from the bellmen and room service staff. The room service food was good and we were given prompt, polite attention. The pool is very nice and we were able to obtain a cabana for shade without difficulty. The servers poolside were friendly but occasionally not very attentive. Overall, I would recommend staying at the Four Seasons if business required you to be in this part of the city.
