I stayed in a condo on the 6th floor. Had a lovely view or Lake Bryan and the pool area. Nice amenities overall with a gym and clean pool. The condo itself was spacious and accomodating. The light switches were dirty with some kind of mysterious red staining, otherwise, everything appeared clearn and well kept. I would stay here again, and was overall pleased with the full kitchen and roominess. Bathrooms were huge! One complaint is that the walls are VERY thin. I could hear my neighbors coming and going all night long, annoying but tolerable.

I booked our vacation for the Blue Heron Beach Resort through the Sea World website, and boy, am I glad I did!! If you are looking for a top-notch, fantastic, absolutely clean place that's bigger than a hotel room, but still works for your budget, then The Blue Heron is what you're looking for!!! Check-in was a breeze! We even got to check in 1 1/2 hrs early! The front desk staff were very nice and told us if we needed anything, to let them know. I booked a family suite for the 3 of us, 2 adults and 1 child, and it was more than enough room. My 10 yr old daughter was tickled to death because she even had her own bathroom. The condo was just lovely and the only thing we hated about it was having to leave. The pool was beautiful and it was huge. Great security feature-you have to use your room key card to access the elevators-to go up or down. My husband and I loved that! We were on the 14th floor and from the front door, we could see Epcot and Disney. We could see Sea World from our balcony. This will definitely be my new favorite place to stay when we go to Orlando now. It was beautiful, clean and very peaceful-right on the lake. Excellent views and I would recommend this condo to anyone!

Just returned from a two week stay at the blue heron beach resort coming over from the uk.Me and my family have been to florida many times always staying in disney hotels but never again this resort was lovely excellent location with the most incredilbe views of disney and lake bryan only matched by the large family suite we stayed in with dvd players,tvs,dishwasher,massive fridge freezer,washing machine and jacuzzi style bath plus on site gym,3 pools ,games room and water sports.Also the blue heron lay on a free shuttle service to all the major parks the driver who provides this service called MICHEAL GRADY he was a gem for our family going out of his way to make our stay hassle free, being always on time for pick ups and drop offs plus having a great laugh with our family a true credit to the blue heron plus florida in general.I have no bad or negative comments on my stay i advise any one to stay at this resort we certainly will return and never step foot in a small overpriced disney hotel room ever again.

The Blue Heron was a real surprise and one of the better bargains we’ve found.
We stayed at the Blue Heron over spring break 2008. Although we reserved a one bedroom suite, what we were given was a beautiful two bedroom unit with views of the lake and some of the theme parks. Both the unit we had, and the one our daughter and family were in were beautiful and freshly redecorated with attractive tropical style furniture and fixtures. We had a full well appointed and well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a living room, small dining area plus bar, and two nice balconies with views in different directions. Although there are hotels with more attractive exteriors, the inside of these units were very attractive. These units could easily sleep 6 comfortably since they have two queen beds and two bunk beds in the hall. The couch also folds down if needed. This is far from a full service hotel, more of a private condo rental, but the staff was very nice and helpful and available whenever we needed them. There is a concierge available in the lobby during the day and early evening. The property also has two nice (but not elaborate) heated pools on the lake front. This property is very conveniently located if you plan on going to any of the nearby theme parks. We couldn’t say enough nice things about the Blue Heron and will happily stay there on our next visit.
