I love staying at Four Queens. From the moment I was dropped at that wonderful Limo/Shuttle area, I felt " there's no place like home". I stayed in the South Tower again this year but in a higher room #1541. I was happy with this room as it faced the canopy and had the mountains in the background. The elevators worked well, the drink service was good, and they had a few slots that I always enjoy. The real plus is Four Queens location. It is nestled between Golden Nugget , Binions, Fremont, and Fitz. Each of these is only steps away, not blocks.
I love the pedestrian walkway under the canopy and I love all that neon blazing back at me. It makes me want to spin around and throw my "gold hat" in the air.
Everything, that Fremont Street Experience has, is within a short walk, not a mile away. FSE offers the light show, live bands, the Saxophone Guy, motorcycle show, "Spray Paint' artist, etc.
The dining on FSE is very good and reasonable. With the FSE coupon, you can get 2-4-1 Buffets at Fremont and Main Street Station.
I highly recommend a South Tower Room at Four Queens for anyone who wants a clean, quiet, and cheerful room. This hotel has a fun casino and good restaurants which are easy to visit even for people with walking problems

Well I stay downtown in Vegas quite often and decided to give Four Queens a shot. The rate was great.

Starting off, the parking garage is odd, you have to exit into an alley to get to the hotel check in. The check in people were friendly and the room was very nice, new furniture, a flat screen TV and clean bathroom. First strike against them was the loud pipes when the shower was being used. I mean LOUD!

Gambling is always fun at the Queens. All the table people were friendly and even at the keno room the drinks came fast. Strike two was their comps aren't as easy to use. In other hotels you can use your players card at any restaurant to get free or discounted food. At the Four Queens you needed to wait for a host to give you restaurant comps.

Hugos' Cellar is located in the Four Queens and is probably the best Downtown restaurant.

The last strike was they charged for parking. I didn't pay for parking at either of the other downtown hotels I've stayed at.

So It's back to Fitzgeralds for me. Though I'll continue to enjoy gambling at the Four Queens.

We have been to Las Vegas 8 times, and my husband and I decided to stay downtown for the first time this trip. We completely enjoyed our time at the Four Queens. The staff was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. We arrived at 10 AM and were told they had a room ready for us immediately. We asked for the quietest room they could give us, and that is what we got. I had called ahead to make the request and the room they gave us was blissfully quiet. We never heard the noise from the Freemont Street Experience.

Our room was clean, newly re-furbished, small and quite pleasant. The maid service was good. On check-in we requested a refrigerator for my husband's medication, and it was delivered within minutes to our room.

Based on recommendations from here at Trip Adviser, we ate 3 times at the 4 Queen's Magnolia's Cafe. The food was fine, the service slow, and it was lit up like a bowling alley. But, it was easy and accessible and our breakfast at the 4 Queens was a 100% better than the breakfast we had at the tonier Golden Nugget down the street, and quite a bit less costly.

At first we thought we might have made a mistake staying downtown. But, after taking the bus back and forth to the strip 2 times and dealing with the hassle and crowds on the strip, we realized that staying downtown was the way to go for a couple of middle-aged people who do not want to be around little children. There is nothing for children to do downtown other than see the laser light show at night. And, that is the only time we saw kids, at night, and not for long.

All in all I would recommend the 4 Queens to anyone interested in coming to Las Vegas to gamble and not to those coming for the "spa" experience. The hotel does not have a pool or spa. But, downtown does have $5 blackjack all night, $2 roulette and a lot of loose slot machines. It was the first time in my 8 times in LV that I came back with more money than I took, and I won it all downtown.

I am disabled and requested an accessible room. I was given a room in the south tower which was large enough to easily accomodate my wheelchair. The room was located close to an elevator that went directly to the casino.

The bathroom was large but had a tub with a shower chair. Worked fine for me but some wheelchair users may find a roll in type shower easier (not sure if one is available here you'd have to ask).

The hotel does not have wheelchairs on loan but the bell desk can direct you to a local vendor who will rent you one (manual or electric) and deliver it within an hour.

Hotel was clean, and nicely appointed for an older property. I would definately stay here again. Downtown area is much easier to navigate than the Strip for people with limited mobility.

I just returned from Las Vegas after 4 nights at the Four Queens. The service is amazing and the staff are real nice. I would never stay anwhere else. They are also sensative to a handicapp persons needs and this always makes it easier when your spouse is handicapp. May you always have excellent service and never change the way you serve the customers.
