We arrived at the Mana Kai April 26th and stayed for 5 nights. We are a family of four (kids aged 18 and 23). We had a unit on the top floor, was recently renovated and very nice (kitchen and floors could have been a bit cleaner but not horrible, we did comment this to the rental company we dealt with). Did not know that if we would have rented directly with the Mana Kai, we could have had beach towel service which would have been nice to have. We all agreed that this was a great spot for our stop in Maui before we went on to Honolulu. Maui truly was what we dreamed Hawaii would be. The location of the Mana Kai was ideal, great beach for long walks, snorkelling, swimming. Central location on the island for sightseeing. Went to the luau at the Wailea Marriott, (perfect), went zip lining (great experience and staff), drove to the haleakala crater (mid morning, did not want to do the drive there in the early morning in the dark, glad we made that choice), visited the Iao Needle park (worth the drive) and even did a quick visit to Lahaina for lunch (Kimos, great food and service, overlooking water). Lahaina was nice to visit but happy to return to Kihei. All the renovations done to this building were done with great taste. If we were to return to Maui (hope we will someday) would definitely stay at the Mana Kai again.
