What an enjoyable stay we had in Maui! This was due not only to the beautiful surroundings and fun activities, but the good, old fashioned hospitality we experienced at Penny's Place. Penny is a wealth of information about the area. By using her local knowledge, we were able to enjoy some great food and activities that we would not have known about otherwise. Everything was clean and attractive, as well as handy. Penny has had enough experience in this business to anticipate the needs of the weary travelers she serves, and does so with style and grace. I would heartily recommend a stay at Penny's Place to anyone.

Qute a pleasant place to stay. Friendly people, good advice on the area. The room we stayed in was lovely but imagine our shock that the nice Hawaiian quilt on our bed took 4 years to make..... handmade by the owner! And my wife enjoys red wine....
made us a bit nervous! Honestly, a lovely room with enough privacy that it was very relaxing- not true of all B&Bs! Lovely fresh fruit for breakfast.
Best fr me- book in the room with ALL KINDS of good information, and the FAQs were good for a genuine laugh. Recomended highly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Penny's. It's ideally located on the main street of Lahaina but far enough away from the shops and restaurants that you don't get all of the noise.
Penny is a fantastic hostess and her breakfast of fresh fruit and mango muffins was delicious.

Had a blast at Penny's. Actually I had a blast on Maui and just slept and had an excellent breakfast at Penny's in a cozy quiet room. Penny's local knowledge was worth the price of the room. I had never surfed or snorkled at Maui and Penny new the best places to go. Penny's location is ideal becuase it is close to downtown but far enough away where it was quiet. Penny is a bit of an environmental activist which is right up my alley so we had some great conversations over coffee in the morning. I highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed at Penny's condo on the beach May 2nd - 6th. After travelling all the way from Melbourne, Australia it was wonderful to arrive at long last. Small hiccup on check in at Reception but that was soon sorted out with a call to Penny to release the room. The condo was spotless and position ideal. It was so peaceful there. We hired a car and visited lots of places on the island and also did the 2 hour drive to the top of the crater which was magnificent. Loved walking through Lahaina each evening and spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon near the pool listening to jazz / blues music from the hotel next door. Penny was wonderful in supplying all the information that we needed prior to our arrival and have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay at the condo. It was a very welcome break prior to our arrival
in Waikiki and the difference astounding.
