In Boquete, there exists a scooter rental business aptly named "Boquete Scooter Rentals".  4 hour rental is $25

Activities to do on a scooter: see the waterfalls, the rock formations, around to Alto Quiel, Bajo Mono....all incredibly beautiful sights.

Another option is to take the scooter down to the hot springs in Caldera....the road is good, up until the final 500 m, where the scooter can be parked. The springs are great...a totally unpretentious location, where the owner charges a $1 fee for "maintenance of the grounds."

The scooter is super easy to drive (automatic transmission) and the guys there are really helpful. They are on the main road, on the way into Bajo Boquete. 720-1436
